The Wanton Mee served here is a comforting, nostalgic plate of Ipoh / Menglembu style goodness — Simple, well‑balanced, and satisfying in every bite. Noodles are springy and well-coated in a balanced dark soy sauce, while the thick cut char siew pieces are tender with good lean meat ratio and just the right char and sweetness. The wantons are smooth and juicy, served with a clean, light broth. Their Dry Hakka Mee is also a good noodle dish to order. It comes with springy, slightly chewy noodles coated with clear savoury sauce, topped with minced pork, pork lard and shallots. The pork balls are served on the side with clear light broth, similar to how their wantons are served. Overall, its a comforting local-styled dish which is hearty but not heavy, with familar flavours and well executed.

Just now I went to this place for lunch. As today is Friday,a week day so there was quite a crowd of office staff taking lunch there. Anyway I found a comfortable place to sit n I ordered their lunch special menu at a special price. I looked through the lunch special menu n finally decided to order a pax of rice with pork n egg n soup. The meal came sizzling hot. The pork was juicy n yummy. The rice was of good quality n the soup was tasty too. The price for this special rice set was reasonably affordable. I was very satisfied with such a wholesome lunch. No need to cook at home. But these various rice sets are available only from Monday to Friday n from 12 noon to 9.30 pm. It's not available during the weekends.

I have been here a few times and each time, without fail, they serve consistently good wanton mee. Portion size is really decent and consistently, tasty + fragrant. Noodles are of the right texture and accompanying wanton + char siew goes so well. Here are other notable highlights and tips: - Orders can be placed via QR online order where payment by credit card is possible. Alternatively, it can be placed at the counter with your self written order on a chit and payment is either cash or e-payment once the order is placed. - They have kueh sold at the counter as well. Love the kueh talam and kueh seri muka. Fragrant and tasty too. - Their coffee tasted like Ipoh white coffee and was good from the first drop till the last. - If you feel like having extra proteins, you can always add additional portions of wantons & char siew. - I like the char siew here as it is the caramelised style char siew. Melts in your mouth and good caramelisation. They have been pretty consistent in how they make it as each time I have eaten, they have maintained the standard. - The chee cheong fun mushroom sauce was decent. Do note that they have minced pork too for the mushroom sauce. - They have complementary pickled chilli that is fresh and goes well with the wanton mee. - The staff are pretty efficient and food is served pretty quickly. Cashiers were friendly too. - The venue has air conditioning and is kept pretty clean. Tables are well spaced. I always enjoy dining here and highly recommend anyone who would like to have good wanton mee to give this place a go.

Decent kopitiam style food with Ipoh slant. Wantan mee always reliable to satisfy. Curry chee cheong fun with pork skin passes muster. No complaints about soft boiled eggs on toast. Good local kopi. Setting is basic and no-frills but aircond and clean. Early morning hours mean service team less than responsive especially when official opening hours have yet to kick in. We were ignored and treated as invisible despite standing in front of the cashier counter for 10 minutes before business hours started.

Astoundingly amazing, truly one of the best wanton mee I’ve ever had in my life, and I’ve tried a lot. The Char Siew (barbecued pork) was succulent and roasted to perfection. Noodle consistency was flawless, the sauce was flavourful and rich without being too salty. Mouthwatering soup and dumplings. The electronic payment system did not seem to work for me which was a slight letdown. Wait time for the noodles was about 20 minutes. In my opinion it’s a life-changing plate.

Above average wan tan mee. Not no. 1 but above average. The pork alao quite hard, not tender enough.

Annie 1 is a chinese restaurant sells chinese local foods located in Damansara Uptown, Petaling Jaya. It is known for their Wanton Mee with Char Siew. Their Char siew and wantan Mee is delicious and tasty . Unlike the usually restaurant, Annie 1 required to order and pay first before serving the food. Overall, the food is fine and the price is average. I recommend to park in the Starling Mall and walk out here.
